Heather has been at the practice since 2001, bringing years of experience and dedication to both patients and colleagues. She has a passion for helping patients find the perfect frame and lens combination, ensuring they look and feel their best while enjoying exceptional vision.

She also ensures our suppliers maintain the highest standards, always advocating for the best interests of the team and those we care for.

Passionate about family and the environment, Heather leads the way as our sustainability champion, pushing us to reduce waste, recycle more, and reach net zero.

When she’s not keeping us all in check, Heather enjoys scenic walks and spending time with her twins and grandson.

Emma White

Emma joined the practice in 2018 and qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 2022. With a passion for style and optics, she has played a key role in shaping our style consultation process, helping patients find eyewear that truly showcases their personality.

She expresses her own bold and unique style and loves working with others to highlight theirs, ensuring every patient finds frames that make them look and feel amazing. Always on trend and full of fresh ideas, Emma brings creativity and energy to the team.

At home, she dotes on her dogs, cat, and pet tortoise, and in her free time, she enjoys thrill-seeking on roller coasters with her boyfriend Jack.

Kate Weavell

A familiar face in Stafford, Kate is a highly experienced Dispensing Optician with a keen eye for precision-engineered eyewear, including the Lindberg range. She ensures every patient finds the perfect blend of style, comfort, and performance in their eyewear.

Outside of work, Kate is passionate about keeping fit, and her family shares her love for running, cycling, swimming, and triathlons.

Nigel Daune

Nigel is a Dispensing Optician with a wealth of experience—and a wardrobe as bold as his expertise! Often spotted in his pink Doc Martens and Hawaiian shirts, he brings a fun, approachable energy to the practice.

With in-depth knowledge of varifocal lens solutions from Hoya and Zeiss, Nigel excels at finding tailored solutions to even the trickiest visual challenges, ensuring patients get the clearest, most comfortable vision possible.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and his faithful Cockapoo, Pablo.

Catherine Stokes

With over 30 years at the practice, Kate is our font of all knowledge, bringing expertise and warmth to patient care. She is a true expert in contact lens teaching, helping patients get to grips with soft, RGP, and scleral lenses with confidence.

More recently, she has expanded into dry eye diagnostics and follow-up care, ensuring patients receive the support they need to manage their symptoms effectively.

Known for her exceptional memory and attentive care, Kate remembers every detail about her patients and is always on hand with friendly advice and expert guidance.

Outside of work, she enjoys walking, gardening, and spending time with her King Charles Spaniel, Bertie.

Sarah Thomas

Sarah is an award-winning Dispensing Optician and a former examiner for the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO). Though she officially retired in 2023, her love of optics and wealth of experience mean she still returns to help out on occasional Saturdays.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for patient care, Sarah ensures that every pair of glasses is perfectly fitted for comfort and clarity. Whether it’s selecting the ideal frame or refining lens choices, her expertise continues to benefit patients and the team alike.

Outside of work, she loves sailing and diving and is in her element when spending time in her garden.
